Specialist Background

Dato’ Dr Zamri Abdul Rahim graduated with an MBBS from University of Malaya (1987) and obtained a post-graduate degree Masters in Obstetric & Gynaecology from University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (1994). He holds a Fellowship in Infertility from Nottingham University (1998) and has more than 30 years of clinical experience in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

During his training at UKM, Hospital Ipoh and Hospital Kuala Lumpur, he had the opportunity of teaching postgraduates students in family medicine and was appointed as Honorary lecturer in UKM.

Dato’ Dr Zamri attends to General Gynaecology, Infertility and Trophoblastics clinics and also manages a wide variety of cases including management of malignancies under supervision.

He has been with Avisena Specialist Hospital for over 17 years as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (Reproductive Medicine), specialising in managing patients with fertility issues.
